Colorful physics puzzler featuring Stella and her flock of friends

Gameplay

Angry Birds Stella sticks to the familiar fling-the-bird formula that made the series famous. You pinch the slingshot, choose an angle, then watch pigs tumble in satisfying cascades of wood, glass, and stone. The goal across all 120 stages is unchanged: flatten every green pig while chasing high scores. Touch controls feel precise and the physics stay as convincing as ever, so each shot carries the right mix of skill and luck.

Characters and Powers

For the first time, a female lead steps up. Stella brings a useful mid-air dash that curves toward your chosen target, helping you reach awkward structures the classic red bird could never hit. She is not alone though. Friends Dahlia, Poppy, Willow, and Luca perch beside her, each offering a distinct special move that can completely change your approach to a level. Swapping birds at the slingshot keeps the action fresh even when layouts start to look familiar.

Visuals and Presentation

Rovio’s artists deliver some of the prettiest vistas seen in the franchise. Vibrant backdrops, carefully shaded debris, and expressive character animations give every stage a storybook charm. Even the tiniest breakable props are rendered with care, so collapsing towers feel more cinematic than ever.

Difficulty and Replay Value

Three-star perfectionists will find plenty of challenge. Later levels add trickier pig placements that demand creative use of each bird’s power. Chasing higher scores encourages experimentation rather than brute force, and the generous stage count provides many hours of flicking fun.

Verdict

Angry Birds Stella does not overhaul the series, yet the combination of a charismatic new heroine, refined visuals, and reliable physics makes it a joy to play. If you still enjoy toppling piggy fortresses, this installment belongs on your device.
